Playing Hunter in the yard .

We grew up catching lizards and fighting them for sport  it was bestowed to us by the older kids in the neighborhood. It was thought that the lizards with a red stripe were more fierce so they were the most feared if you were fighting you lizard with another kids who had it and they also seemed hardest to actually catch. We would catch them by hand or use a loop made of saw grass that you would yank closed once it was around its neck. I use to prefer catching them by hand because it was frustrating when you got the loop around the lizard’s neck and it just walked through it before you could snatch it closed on its neck seems to me if you got that close to it to hell with the loop just grab it with your hand . I don’t know man, but you tap into something primal when your lock in on one. I know its kind of immature lol but who gives – sh*ts pure fun . SALUTE !
